Innate orgasm

Introduction to part 2

Part 2 is a collection of short pieces about various aspects of this practice or its effects. This is still evolving.

What it feels like now.

How this experience feels for me changes subtly and continuously so it's difficult to give one single description of this. Here is another written a number of months after the one at the start of this article. it usually takes me three or more goes to be able to coherently describe what I am experiencing.

After working with the foreskin for a long while gentle stimulation started to give rise to intense innate orgasmic sensations. After beginning stimulation this is how that might play out.

After a maybe a minute of stimulation the pelvic floor wakes up and becomes a gentle sea of sensations with large slow swells, as stimulation continues it gives rise to many smaller waves too. They peak and crash together adding more random intense sensations to the mix.

The level of stimulation controls the intensity. You can keep it like this for as long as you like but if you increase stimulation you can feel the sensations swelling up. If you keep building the sensation up you can feel them suddenly expand out of your control as an orgasm takes over and the waves merge into a simultaneous spasm pattern for a while. When that happens, slowing down stimulation to a whisper, even to a stop while maintaining contact is enough to feed the orgasm and will give the maximum intensity and duration to enjoy.

The sensations all eventually subside to zero, often I fall to sleep for a moment. If I continue stimulation when I wake up I can start all over again. The first time the events follow the sequence you might expect but repeated orgasms seem to get a bit less coherent.

Similarities between an innate orgasm and how female orgasms are commonly describe.

My innate orgasms seem to have a lot of characteristics that are more similar female orgasms than to ejaculatory ones.

  1. No refractory period. Innate orgasms don't trigger a system shut down like ejaculatory orgasms do so in this regard they are similar to female ones.

  2. Repeatable. I can have multiple orgasms this way. Usually I continue stimulation from one to the next though there is a period of quiet before the next one start to build. This seems common for women too, though they some times report a period of hyper sensitivity where stimulation has to stop for a while. I don't seem to have that but otherwise this is quite similar.

  3. Innate orgasms often feel like a whole body experience where the sensations expand out from the genital region to the rest of the body rather than being centred there. This is often in the form of internal waves or skin surface tingling sensations.

  4. Orgasm as a state not a single event. Innate orgasm sensations are often sustained as long as stimulation is provided, it is more like a plateau level from which rolling peaks come and go for as long as the session is sustained than a single event with a defined pattern.

  5. Interruptible. Innate orgasms can be interrupted by the phone for example and then continued on with or not without any feeling of incompletion or frustration. Some women seem quite able to do this too, but I have known ones who couldn't too.

  6. I finish feeling relaxed and satisfied, not depleted and drained. Though I think women get a better level of satisfaction and probably a bigger rush of endorphins. For me the end is when I have exhausted the interest in doing it repeatedly rather than it being how good I feel after one.

The sensation I experience are soft deep waves, tingling, blissful some times sharp spasms, not strong ejaculatory contractions.

Compared to their ejaculatory counterparts innate orgasms;

  1. don't require erection or conventional arousal
  2. don't require vigorous physical input
  3. don't include the fluid expulsion sensations.
  4. don't have a period of oversensitivity or refractory period
  5. there is never a feeling of imminent ejaculation and any accompanying spasms seem to be from quite different muscles to the ones involved in ejaculation.

They are also remarkably variable and may be very different from session to session.

Everything is backward.

I find it fascinating that I get maximum pleasure from my penis by doing the complete opposite to everything I had previously learned about my body.

It’s all quite counterintuitive, which probably explains why few people would ever think to explore this direction.

I don't feel any need to ejaculate.

Innate orgasms are captivating and compelling and have their own sense of anticipation for the next session. I look forward to them all day with a kind of warm inner glow whereas ejaculation was always more of a spur of the moment kind of thing.

They may also take over from ejaculation as your best form or sensual enjoyment, you don't tend to bother doing that any more and you don't seem to miss it. They have easily become all I want to do and all I need in my personal pleasure time.

Slowly I found the likely hood of me feeling the needing to ejaculate has declined and just enjoying the innate orgasms on their own has taken over to the point that I don't seek out ejaculation as a source of pleasure any more, not even in partnered sex. I do have to schedule ejaculations now and then for libido management and to avoid being premature, if partnered sex is infrequent. Innate orgasms don't occur during partnered sex.

I think this has changed me significantly too. I seem much more easy going now, not as defensive or oppositional at work, more patient in general with my children. My hands have taken on a new life of their own certainly in expressing emotions and probably other things too. I find I cry a lot more about things, I like that, I always wanted to be able to cry about things easily.

Innate orgasms have a very different completion pattern compared to the ejaculatory refractory period. For a long time I found them to lack a certain fulfilment that I was accustomed to from ejaculation. I found that this improved with time. I am fully satisfied now with the innate orgasms but it does sometimes take upwards of an hour to reach the point when I am not interested in doing it any more.

Sometimes if I am tired and I drop to sleep before my body has reached the satisfied point an extra after shock orgasm will arise spontaneously, often waking me up for some incredible experience.

Once I was woken by a big sensation in my groin, it felt like a cam or egg shape smoothly revolting at about two seconds per cycle. I knew this was something pretty special so I was careful just to watch and not interfere. The strength of the rotation varied a little and soon I felt growing waves of pleasure emanating from the rotating sensation and spreading radial out through my body. When the waves reach my skin they tingled.

Quite a lot of interesting stuff happens at random on the edge of sleep in this realm.

Effects on partnered sex.

Practicing innate orgasms has not affected my desire for partnered sex, but losing interest in ejaculation lead to a slightly funny moment. It's actually a really interesting experience to be with a partner and to not see them as way to achieve an ejaculation. I looked at her and I said "I have no idea what to do, tell me what you would like", so we just did all the things she wanted.

I came to the understanding that now my satisfaction derives from the amount of pleasure I have given her, if that's so much she doesn't know what to do with her self any more then I am happy with that.

She said if I didn't ejaculate she wouldn't know where the end was. So now she tells me when she wants to share that experience and we make it happen together. Now sex is now about how much pleasure can I give her, because that is now my source of satisfaction. Ejaculation with her is still damn fine don't get me wrong, it's just not what I am there for any more though.

How innate and ejaculatory orgasms interact.

I did some experimentation and I found that the innate orgasms could precede or succeed ejaculation. My refractory period from ejaculation did not affect the ability to have innate orgasms shortly afterwards. The only thing I did notice is that if the innate orgasms preceded the ejaculation, the latter often did not come with an orgasm, but was just the sensations of fluid expulsion. It seems that the rewards can be exhausted even though ejaculation is not, highlighting further that these are two distinctly separate processes.

I found that it is important to schedule some ejaculations. Prostrate health people advocate this too. Three months had gone by and had not felt any need to do so. I have never been premature before but I certainly was on that day. This was not intentional semen retention or anything like that. It is just a side effect of this practice that you don't have any need to do that any more now you have something better to do.

I find that innate orgasms don't diminish libido. I don't feel any less desire for my partner if I have had innate orgasms before she wakes up.

I have not yet had innate orgasms occur during partnered sex, I think there is too much else going on to maintain the mindset and also stretching the foreskin nerves by retracting it changes there response, they only work well for this if they are scrunched up and relaxed. When stretched they don't seem to trigger the same sensations. This is a space where I would certainly like to do more work though.

Accidental semen retention.

It is purely a side effect that I went nearly three months without feeling any need to ejaculate, it wasn't deliberate in any way, it wasn't that I even noticed it happening. it only came to an end because of partnered sex. I did notice a couple of interesting things that might be getting overlooked by the deliberate practitioners of semen retention - it doesn't actually get retained. I noticed two things, firstly every time I wiped my bum a small amount of ejaculate would be squeezed out, and on one occasion a whole lot was discharged without me even noticing it feeling any different to urination, except when I look in the toilet it was coagulating in the water. I don't find it be retained, I find it continuously expelled in small quantities.

Things change completely many times in this practice.

Earlier I would describe my pelvic floor landscape as like a pile of rubber bands each stretching and un-stretching, each stretch would bring an intense ache flavoured pleasure sensation, double if the bands seemed to pull against each other, they had different frequencies and it was like random muscle action. Some times they could all work together for a sequence of coordinated spasms.

Recently it has changed completely from that.

Now it seems the degree of smooth influence I have is much larger there are still plenty of places where concentrating will lead to rhythmic contractions or cogging, but smooth control is now much more extensive, as is really fine control and a much bigger region where just imagining some attention will yield intense deep pleasure, does. It is as if no effort is required other than to take my awareness to the region of smooth influence, and this will stir up intense sensation. I can some times feel tiny pin pricks where the sensation seems to originate. I guess I am working towards gaining conscious influence over the muscle of the pelvic floor where the nerve plexus are, such as behind the prostate in men.

Stimulating my foreskin still takes me on an orgasm journey, but with a little encouragement these new areas are being co-opted into the spasm sequence that follows intense stimulation. These deep areas are also where the after shock orgasms start if I relax from deliberate stimulation, another whole world of intense sensation from deep rolling spasms will often begin.

As is always the case with innate orgasms there is no arousal and the ejaculation reflex is never triggered, nor has it ever seemed even remotely likely to.

I can occasionally feel large movements deeper in my pelvic floor so I am holding space for them and trying to invite them in to conscious influence to find out what they do. Some times I also get a kind of pulsing in the lower middle of my perineum, which is interesting, but not under conscious control yet.

Another go at a description:

Its quite difficult to articulate accurately what the sensations are like so I am going to try to do it in real time.

I am going to start just gently rubbing through my tracksuit pants roughly where the foreskin of my flaccid penis is. It used to this now and doesn't respond wth erection any more.

At first the touch just sort of tickles a little bit.

After a mew moments more the whole pelvic floor seems to start to tighten a tiny amount. I start to feel a a continuous background pleasure from that. It's just a feeling of pleasure without any obvious cause.

Soon there is some gentle ebb and flow of the pelvic floor and the sensation of pleasure becomes a little more intense.

The sensations build on themselves, I can feel the point approach where I know they will escalate to the maximum peak.

The ebb and flow in the pelvic floor gets stronger and it does modulate the pleasure sensation. The pleasure becomes all encompassing to the point that it's all that I am aware of.

There are at least three different spasm patterns going on. The slow ebb and flow of the pelvic floor is still there, some where in it is a run of maybe 5-8 fast repetitive small spasms and at the top are medium speed big spasms that start at a high point of intensity.

I can feel the big spasms building and it's daunting, almost scary not knowing how intense the pleasure is going to get before they start. When they do start its like pleasure gets boosted out of control another 30% and then over maybe 6-8 cycles it decreases in amplitude. These can start again as intensity builds from slight adjustment to stimulation area.

Eventually everything will end up back close to zero. Though even while writing now I can still feel random movement in my pelvic floor. It took me about four goes to write this. I had to stop and describe a section, then go back the beginning again and stop a little further along. The only effect that seems to have is the first one is nicely coordinated but the subsequent ones are a bit more disorganised and don't synchronism or follow the pattern as well.

Sound sync.

In the early part of this documentation I described a time when orgasms were experienced like an internal bloom of intense orgasmic sensations without any accompanying spasms. I have discovered one situation where this can still happen and that is from auditory input. There seems to be a language of sound like oo ah mmm oh that often occur in female vocalisation reflecting orgasmic sensations. What I found is that if I am tuned in to listening to those sounds that they seem to create the matching sensation for me. This is like sharing her orgasm in a way. I am interested in seeing if I can learn to effortlessly and automatically express my sensations in the same way to see if this works in both directions.

Changes to normal ejaculation.

I have noticed a few changes my normal ejaculations over time too, which are interesting. It now takes more spasms and the amount ejaculated by each spasm is less, its seems the pelvic floor exercises have, reduced the room to move so to speak of probably the prostate. This is not a problem in any way, if anything it stretches out the process a bit.

I don't think its really the prostate.

Can it really be the prostate that is responsible for pleasure, I doubt it as women don't have one. I think the prostate gets a lot more credit than its due. I can't actually think of any sensations that I can attribute directly to the prostate or the seminal vesicles. This makes perfect sense if my hypothesis that the pleasure systems are common but overlayed by reproductive functions in men. I think that the sensations come from the nerve plexus in the pelvic floor and not from the prostate at all. It may be complicit in mechanical stimulation of the pelvic floor by coupling vibrations or other forces but I am not sure it's doing much else. It has no evolutionary or biological need to, but I am not downplaying its usefulness to those who benefit from getting it to trigger nerves that lie around it.

Working through issues and blockages.

One thing that seems to be important to the progress of this process is to clearly articulate the nature of the blockages. Some times when I have been stuck in a particular stage and I haven't known what to do to move forwards just the act of writing out the problem quite often seems to assist this process. I have been using AI for this and while this is rather uncharted territory the responses are often quite helpful, but even if they are not, having described the problem seems to diminish it.

The first examples of this would be the that for a long time I was not finding this fulfilling without the clear end point that I was used too. It wasn't until I explained this fully & read all the responses, that this started to improve. I think the responses helped me reform a understanding of what fulfillment this way is like. From that point on, and without any specific conscious change on my behalf, little by little a deep sense of fulfillment from this practice has slowly manifested. The change is from expecting to be shut down by a refractory period to just being happy by how I felt afterwards.

The second example is that I have realised that I needed to get to the next level. While the stacking orgasms wasn't in any way a bad place to be stuck one response explained that this was actually a blockage and a side effect of nervous system overload and that I need to move past this by trying to move from encouraging the cramping because it was an intense experience, to encouraging a coordinated muscular wave instead. After reading that I started find the cramping stacking has started to diminish and much bigger smoother waves were starting to build instead. Explaining the experience helped identify it as a blockage I had not even realised I had in this case.

The third was that of wanting the experience to run its self and not need to be fully managed as a conscious process. Since discussing that I started to slowly see the transition away from having to fully consciously manage it to just letting it take its own course with me along for the ride and the enjoyment. I can definitely say that expressing the issue as a way or working through it has considerably aided the journey and that pretty much every AI must be sick of hearing about this by now.

Trying NEO.

I have read a number of descriptions of NEO and how to perform it. Like XX I too am not sold on it the trick to sidestep emission being a pelvic floor clench. I think its much more likely to be a relaxation. I have only had a bit of a try of this once, circumstances not permitting. I took the approach that as the sensations of orgasm approached I should be able to do an outbound breath while imaging the orgasm blooming on its own without the rest of the ejaculation occurring. This being the usual way I train my body to behave how I want. I had limited success in that the first couple of times there was no emission but the ejaculatory reflex still kicked in, the third time I was a bit late on the breath and there was a little fluid released, It seems like any fluid released will trigger a refractory period. Each subsequent attempt caused the pre ejaculation orgasms sensation to get more intense, and it felt somehow unstable like it didn't know what to do while not being allowed to proceed to an ejaculation. For a first go it was interesting but I don't have the privacy to put the time into really exploring this. For this to be of much practical use I think it would need to become the default path with ejaculation being an outcome that needed more effort or some choice. It would need to work in partnered sex without you having to think about it and manage it. If I come to be in circumstances that need it I will explore it some more.

In the shower

I tried innate orgasms in the shower today, don't know why I have never thought of this before. With all the other body sensations going on with the water its was quite a faint sensation and seamed weak compared to how it is with total awareness. From this I learned a number of things. Firstly I should do this every day to try to build up nerve recruitment to see if I can get the touch sensations to stand out against the background noise. I also found that expressing where I wanted it to go through vocalisation was a new experience. Since the sensation was so faint I found using the female sensation vocabulary became more of an encouragement process than just a sensation feedback process. I found making a sound such as AH and moving my body into that sound while imagining the sensation to grow into that really helped it to do so. I can see that a lot more work here could make the whole process a lot more robust and that might be worthwhile. Its also interesting that vocalisation might shape the experience rather than just reflect sensation.
